Patio Path Restoration in Winkfield Row

This curved stone path in Winkfield Row had built-up surface staining, dull slabs and edging that had lost definition. The client wanted a cleaner, smarter finish that brought back the natural tones without compromising the character of the paving.

Before: a tired, uneven appearance

The path had accumulated weather staining and embedded dirt across both the straight and curved sections. The dark cobble border was also visually lost against the surrounding surfaces, making the route look less defined than it should.

The cleaning process

We pressure washed the paving to lift the built-up surface dirt, then worked carefully around the curved edge and cobble border. Once the path was clean, a professional post-clean treatment was applied to finish the job and help retain the refreshed appearance.

Cleaning revealed the warm natural tones in the individual slabs and made the contrasting cobble border stand out again. The result is a cleaner, more defined path that complements the rest of the property.
