Artificial Grass Isn't "Zero Maintenance"

While artificial grass requires significantly less upkeep than a natural lawn, it is not completely maintenance-free. Over time, leaves, dust, and airborne seeds settle into the pile, allowing moss and weeds to grow. Furthermore, the plastic blades become flattened from foot traffic, and pet urine can create strong, lingering odors.

The Problem with Pet Odors

When dogs use artificial grass, uric acid crystals bind to the plastic fibers and the sand infill beneath. Normal rain or hosing down will not remove these crystals. During warm weather, the heat activates the uric acid, releasing a strong ammonia smell.

Our 4-Step Rejuvenation Process

1. Debris Removal: We use industrial mechanical brushes to sweep the lawn, lifting out leaves, pine needles, and embedded moss that regular rakes miss.
2. Enzyme Treatment (For Pets): We apply a specialized, pet-safe enzymatic cleaner. Unlike standard detergents that just mask the smell, enzymes actively break down and digest the uric acid crystals, eliminating the odor at its source.
3. Deep Extraction Wash: We use a specialized low-pressure extraction system to wash the fibers and flush the infill without displacing the sand base.
4. Power Brushing: Finally, we use a mechanical power brush to lift the flattened plastic fibers, restoring the bouncy, "just laid" appearance.
