Block Paving Driveway Cleaning in Winkfield

This Winkfield driveway had lost much of its original colour beneath weathering, surface dirt and organic growth. The red-and-grey herringbone pattern was still there, but the entrance no longer had the clean, defined appearance it was designed for.

Before: dull paving and softened definition

Years of outdoor exposure had left the blocks looking muted, with dirt settled into the surface and joints. The dark border and patterned central area had become less distinct, reducing the kerb appeal of the whole frontage.

The driveway cleaning process

We pressure washed the block paving to remove the built-up surface dirt and bring the original tones back through. The driveway was then treated with biocide as part of the job, helping to tackle the organic growth that contributes to a tired appearance. Finally, the joints were re-sanded to complete the service and support the block paving structure.

After: the original block pattern brought back to life

Once cleaned, the contrast between the warm red blocks and darker border was clear again. The surface looked brighter, more even and more welcoming from the road, while the completed re-sanding provided the proper finishing stage for this type of driveway clean.
